I am loving the specials! And Vitale's is always a great place to hang out with an option to sit on the patio and soak up our Michigan sun. Would recommend to anyone traveling through - can't miss Vitale's of Comstock Park if you are visiting the area.
A year or so ago they went to using the Heartland App. It Sucks! I order and pay for extra sauce. Never get it. There is no place to request them leave the order. I was hoping they got rid if the terrible app but no such luck. I won't mention consistency of the food delivered either. Less than appealing anymore.
Food and atmosphere have always been great. However, lately the pizza sauce flavor has declined. In addition - the side salad is terrible. A bowl of dry spring mix with a few tomatoes and a handful of cheese. Flavorless. A better mix of greens - add some romaine and iceberg, toss on a couple cucumbers.
Meatballs! Yum!
