The pizza! It's the only thing we ever get here so it's all I can speak to, but it is awesome. There aren't a ton of options in a small town, but whenever we find ourselves out this way, we know where we are heading. They are generous with all the toppings, especially the cheese. Yum!
This is a great half-way stop for bicyclists starting in Jackson on the Falling Waters Trail. From Jackson, it is 11 miles to the tavern. We stopped and had burgers which were delicious. It was nice to stop in Concord and rest before heading back to Jackson. I will definitely be back. Our waitress was kind and offered to fill our water bottles.

The cadet tavern is a local full-service bar that offers a standard bar food menu. If that's what you're looking for they do a good job. They serve terrific burgers, and offer a wide variety of pizzas and deep-fried appetizers. They also offer a few delicious sandwiches, including the grinder, which is my favorite. Bar food done right.
