The cadet tavern is a local full-service bar that offers a standard bar food menu. If that's what you're looking for they do a good job. They serve terrific burgers, and offer a wide variety of pizzas and deep-fried appetizers. They also offer a few delicious sandwiches, including the grinder, which is my favorite. Bar food done right.

Stopped in for late lunch, had pizza and cokes. Service was excellent, pizza just a tad undercooked, but we ate every bit of it.

The pizza! It's the only thing we ever get here so it's all I can speak to, but it is awesome. There aren't a ton of options in a small town, but whenever we find ourselves out this way, we know where we are heading. They are generous with all the toppings, especially the cheese. Yum!

This is a great half-way stop for bicyclists starting in Jackson on the Falling Waters Trail. From Jackson, it is 11 miles to the tavern. We stopped and had burgers which were delicious. It was nice to stop in Concord and rest before heading back to Jackson. I will definitely be back. Our waitress was kind and offered to fill our water bottles.

ordered a couple bacon cheeseburgers tonight. was AMAZING!!!!
Just had lunch today with a group of six. Absolutely no complaint. The sandwiches were excellent and everyone enjoyed their choice. Three ordered the Italian Grinder, two had grilled chicken salad and one hamburger. I had hamburger and it was very good, hand formed and juicy. The server was very attentive and surely took care of us. Wednesday is $1.00 off tap beer. Will return soon.

We are visiting friends in Spring Arbor, MI, and they took us to Cadet’s for lunch!! Oh my, the burgers are wonderful!! So is “the grinder,” that my husband ordered. The prices are reasonable & the service prompt & friendly. Go!! Give it a try & enjoy!!!

This is a great little dive bar and grill that serves up some really legit food. You have to try the Skull Skins (deep fried pizza dough). Their prices are very reasonable. They don't have a lot of beers on draft, just the basics.
