About Fob’s Restaurant

Fob’s Restaurant is a cute little country diner and a Crystal Falls staple. The original owners have reopened it, and the menu seems similar to what customers remembered from the 1980s. The broasted chicken was amazing, and the chicken wings were huge, though the breading was extremely bland. The mashed potatoes and gravy were cold and no flavor, and the potatoes were homemade and yummy. The garlic cheese curds were a favorite, and the crinkle cut fries were also really good. The burger was good overall, though the texture was different. The western omelette with hash browns was perfect, the coffee was great, and the sweet tea is dark/strong brewed and very good. The raspberry pie was every bit as delicious as remembered. The service was excellent, very attentive and personable, and the waitress was very friendly. The counter service returned, along with chicken, desserts, and staff. Everything was delicious. There were some challenges with the re-launch, probably due to the rush upon the re-opening, but there are bound to be some kinks.
