Cute little country diner. We randomly stopped by on our way to the upper peninsula. Pleasantly surprised. The garlic cheese curds were my favorite. Crinkle cut fries were also really good. Burger was good overall, though the texture was different than I’m used to. Not bad, just different. Their sweet tea is dark/strong brewed and very good! Would definitely stop back in if given the chance. Waitress was very friendly.
Thank you Fob’s for coming back!!! The menu seems similar to what I remembered from the 1980s, which is a GOOD thing. I heard that there were some challenges with the re-launch, probably due to the “rush” upon the re-opening of this once ultra-popular diner. Seems like most negative reviews are related to this.
(BTW - for those that remember, Fob’s historically had wait lines in the entryway on the weekends.)

Welcome back, Fob's Restaurant! We missed you! Stopped in for lunch the other day and was delighted to see the counter service return, chicken, desserts, staff. Everything was delicious.
