Al Ameer Reviews
Some friends and I decided to check this place out because of Chow Down Detroit (I just moved to the area and have been trying to find local gems) and let me tell you, the food was absolutely delicious and filling and the portions were amazing. Not only that but the people who work here are amazing. They were so patient with us while we asked questions and helpful and made sure we got to try all the best things. I can't hype this place up enough. We will absolutely be back!
Always a wonderful dinner out at Al-Ameer. The food is the closest to authentic Middle-Eastern food here in the States. We had a wonderful server tonight (Juju) as well that was attentive and ensured our order was correct. Highly recommend!
we had lunch at the Canton location. the service was prompt and the food was really good. The Chicken Shwarma was cooked perfectly and the rice and grilled vegetables were done very well. the lentil soup was delicious. be sure to get a lemon crush to drink.

Al Ameer is a renowned Lebanese restaurant that continues to delight diners with its delicious cuisine and warm hospitality. The restaurant's menu features popular dishes like the Al-Ameer Platter, falafel with hummus and rice, and the chicken combo, all prepared with authentic Lebanese flavors. The staff, known for their attentiveness and welcoming demeanor, strive to ensure a pleasant dining experience for every guest.
The restaurant's buffet, although slightly pricier than others, offers a diverse selection of options to satisfy various preferences. While some dishes, such as the rice, may be slightly overcooked, the exceptional garlic sauce and other culinary highlights make Al Ameer a treasure worth visiting. The restaurant's cleanliness is commendable, although the bathrooms could benefit from some improvements.
Customers have praised the restaurant's outstanding service, with one reviewer describing the waiter as "lovely" even when they arrived close to closing time. The falafel, in particular, has been highlighted as exceptional, with one customer claiming them to be "some of the best" they've had. The Canton location has also received positive feedback for its prompt service and delectable dishes, such as the perfectly cooked chicken shawarma and the delicious lentil soup.
Overall, Al Ameer continues to be a highly recommended destination for those seeking an authentic and enjoyable Lebanese dining experience.
