The root beer floats are not the way they used to be. They are only allowed 3 swirls of ice cream in comparison to a large amount of pop. The small is in a medium/large cup. If they reduced the amount of pop, then they can get away with a few pumps of ice cream. When you sip it, you should also taste the ice cream.
I've been going here occasionally for lunch for years now. Every time I go there is the same woman, I think her name is Sylvia, that takes my order. She is always so kind and patient even though my order can be more complicated. I really appreciate the great and consistent service!
I generally love A&W the price and food are fine and the root beer floats are a great touch. For the last 3 years whoever has been working the closing shift on weekdays should be canned. She’s always extremely rude gives you a dirty look and won’t talk even if you say hi. I come here about 1/10th as much as I used to because of this it’s just not very welcoming. Also make it so that pickup trucks can fit in the drive thru w/o destroying their rims.
