Balqees was a beautiful experience, fasting all day for Ramadan this place hit the spot. Greeted by the most lovely staff, I was seated in very comfortable chairs, surrounded by the most awe-inspiring Yemeni art pieces. Beautiful Yemeni outfits and jambiyas adorn the walls with decadence and flair that bring one’s presence to the motherland of the Middle East. Mashallah I felt like I had a small glimpse into heaven, joyful energy with families all around just enjoying the evening...

My friend and I always come here in the morning for the shakshuka it’s really good has a lot of flavour and the free tea (including refills) is excellent service. Their prices are really good they definitely don’t skimp out on the portions one order was able to fill both of us up and still leave with leftovers.

Breakfast here is amazing. It is a Yemeni restaurant where you can sit on the floor in a traditional style. It is perfect for families who want privacy.

They serve delicious shakshuka, fasulia, and freshly baked tandoor naan. The Adani tea from Yemen completes the breakfast.

This place is ideal for enjoying a cozy and authentic Yemeni food with family and friends.
