Buddies is the one and only original Detroit style pizza and I am not sure if phenomenal is even the right word to describe it. I have no idea how they make the crust, but they have perfected it in their eighty years of making pizza perfection. The pizza is drowing in the signature marinara sauce which is topped with the most perfect form of golden white cheese. If you like a dry white pizza, then the Detroiter is not for you. The pizza looked a little anemic and could have used a bit more time in the oven. I thought it was alright. It's something to try once because they are credited as the original creator of Detroit-style pizza. Apart from that, I'm not sure if anything else stands out.

Detroit Style is good and I'm from Chicago. I know good food. Chicken strips were great. Staff Needs to work on attention to tables with customers. Had to ask for things to many times. On an up note the staff is very friendly. If you're visiting from out of town buddies is the place to go
