My friend who is a local brought me by because its her local favorite and I see why. “A shame I had not remembered to review this place earlier. I was in town for a seminar, and I must admit I have a hard time finding quality coffee places that rival Portland while I travel, but this place did it. A smoooth, rich, and complex latte that I rarely get to enjoy when out of the PNW. I'll be keeping you folks in mind should I make it to detroit again.“

“the coffee was good and it's a cool place to check out. The staff was not friendly at all. we understand they were grieving a coworker, but it was weird when we said "good morning" that she just ignored us. this happened twice so it wasn't like she didn't hear us“

“Has few items that are hard to find in other grocery stores but some of the widely available items are unreasonably above the market price. They also sell expired mlokheye, the seller/owner had a condescending attitude towards someone at the store it was uncomfortable to watch & impossible to ignore since his tone of voice was of one who's addressing everyone in the store.“
