I’m sorry, but anybody that gives this place less than a 5 star has to be cheap.It’s impossible not to like this place. I’ve been coming before the last 2 expansions and thankfully, the quality and the service has not changed.Hate macarons? Try their is ispahan, you’ll change your mind.I consider myself an eclair connoisseur, I’ve tried them in every country I’ve visited and every pastry shop I’ve been to, honestly 10/10 at Gateaux.Knafeh cheesecake…. BOMBBlueberry cheesecake… BOMB (I just want to know who in the world came up with the cake instead of crust at the bottom… YUM!)I love this place. I love the vibe. It’s clean. They’re kind. And you get what you pay for.p.s.- I think you guys would make a killer tiramisu.. just an idea ?

Beautiful and comfortable lounge,the staff is courteous and generous, the cake is delicious.We enjoyed the visit and will repeat it on our next visit to Dearborn.

It was my first time being there. First part of our first date night in two and a half years (age of our son) the drinks were delicious and the cheesecake was worth ten dollars for sure. I wasn't sure looking at it but biscoff cheesecake sounded so interesting. With the first taste we both knew it was well worth it. We plan to bring our son there to "treat him" with cheesecake...it's for us but he will be the excuse. My only issue is being unable to find anything on a website to see if I could order and buy a larger option of that cheesecake to take to family get togethers. I would be a horrible person if I didn't mention how kind and helpful the staff was. It was a great experience.

Such a cute place. Only reason I gave a 3 because of the price. Lol 1 little cheese cake is $10. It was really delicious but I paid around 30$ for three items lolI recommend this place for date nights or girls catch up. If you're a student , save your ones for your college tuition.

I live this café vibe and atmosphere. It has plenty of space and its design is adorable. The staff are very nice and friendly. However, pastries are overpriced and not always fresh. Sometimes they are really fresh and taste great, sometimes not so much. I like the variety though. They have also gelato, which tastes good. I would still visit this place from time to time if I want to have cute coffee/tea time with friends. They have special Harry Potter pastries and decorations around Harry’s birthday.We ordered customized engagement party cake with pistachio filling for my friend’s engagement party and it was super delicious and amazing.
I love the aesthetic vibe of this place! The staff has always been friendly, and the pastries are SO tasty. Will definitely be coming back!

If I lived closer, I would get all my special occasion desserts from here! We got 2 desserts, 1 pastry, and 3 macaroons to go. The Biscoff Cheesecake is amazing! My son said it was the best item we got!
Gateaux is hands down one of the best dessert spots in all of Metro Detroit. Every single pastry option is out of this world and well worth the cost. The atmosphere is absolutely stunning as well.
It gets a little full and loud but it’s so worth the drive. A little pricey but also just ahead of their times and it’s worth every penny.Our favorites are the Biscoff Cheesecake and the Pistachio ice cream - it has these chocolate chips in it that are divine ?Large plants everywhere and velvet seats make an interesting comfort, luxe and homey.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome even if it doesn’t look super kid friendly

Got the biscoff cheesecake, fancy hot chocolate and the carrot cake and SO GOOD! The service was great everyone was so kind. Definitely sweet and rich hot chocolate, couldn’t drink it all but very delicious!
