So, what’s the food like, then?I got a sandwich and something else, I wish I could remember what it’s called. The sandwich wasn’t special, but it was nice. The chicken went along perfectly with the bread. There’s better food out there, but I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from here again if I was hungry and nearby.This part of the experience didn’t affect my rating, but the cashier could not tell my gender. I watched as she stumbled and struggled picking between he, she, and they. I know I’m pretty, but I am in fact, a man.

First going to Mat's. Family owned business. I have lived in Dearborn just about all my life and so glad my son took me there. The lady at the front was really helpful and our food was awesome. You can eat in or outside. It's in a great neighborhood. If you have never been before you really need to go and try there food. The soup, salads and sandwiches are yummy. ❤
Stacked high hot corned beef on rye. Very lean and tasty being enough for 2 meals. The very friendly service always brings me back to an establishment. The place was small and very clean. I called my order in and it was ready when I got there.

Friendly neighborhood deli with wonderful staff. Great sandwiches after visiting the Henry Ford museum. Bread was perfect with chicken salad sandwich.Plenty of food. Definitely will be back.
I wanted to love the food, but it unfortunately had zero flavor. I got the chicken Caesar club wrap and there was not a lick of seasoning on the chicken and I think they forgot the Caesar dressing so unfortunately it was bone dry and bland. I also got a brownie and it tasted old. I think it was a cheesecake brownie and the cheesecake part was like rubber. The staff was nice though...and based on the reviews I must have caught them on an off day. For a $20 lunch though I won't risk it I'll go elsewhere

My first time here. Hot Corned beef on rye delicious, although next time id request lean cb. Service excellent and very friendly. Clean area though small and a bit crammed for seating. Great for takeout. I will teturn. Slight pricy for just a sandwich $15Parking: I parked on side street since Matties on the corner. I didn’t pass deli to see if a parking lot available.
