I can not understate how great this restaurant is. Firstly is the bread that we were given to start which tasted divine with the sauce that was provided. Next comes the lentil soup and meat. Don’t even get me started on how they command their spices and the amount of food. One order of one of their Sahara combos could feed about 5 people (we had 3 people so we had to take leftovers home). It is a wonderful restaurant with an incredibly funny and nice server. 5 starts.

What an amazing place to eat after visiting the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation! The fresh-baked bread is absolutely out of this world. I had the shish kabob platter, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the lentil soup was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, delicious, and generously portioned.
What really made the experience stand out, though, was how incredibly kind and friendly the owners were. They were wonderful to talk to and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we walked in. If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by—you won’t be disappointed!

On the weekend it was my second time that I had visited this establishment and I must say that I was not disappointed the first time and was not disappointed this time . Excellent food and really reasonably priced. I certainly will be back again

A gem not too far from the Henry Ford Museum of Innovation. Sam has a warm welcoming personality and within a min we had fresh bread, humus and the garlic spread on the table, replenished on demand. The falafels were piping hot and fresh. The chicken shwarma was moist and succulent and the lentil soup was seasoned to perfection. We will definitely come again and recommend a must visit to this landmark in Dearborn. UT

Sahara is my favorite Lebanese restaurant in Michigan. Sam and his staff treat their customers like family and are extremely generous.
I highly recommend them for catering parties as well. I use them 3 plus times a year for parties of 30 or more.

My husband and I absolutely love Sahara Restaurant in Dearborn! We recently moved to Michigan from Washington, DC, and we often miss the variety of amazing food we had there, but Sahara has quickly become one of our favorite spots.
It’s a casual, welcoming restaurant with incredible food. I travel often, and after driving back from the airport one day, I stopped in Dearborn and tried Sahara. Now I find myself constantly craving their hummus, garlic sauce, fresh pita, and lentil soup.
Everything tastes so fresh, the portions are huge, and the staff is absolutely wonderful. They truly make you feel like family.
Such a great restaurant with delicious food and amazing hospitality. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

This is THE only middle eastern restaurant I will get food from, I have never even had a wilted piece of lettuce on a salad. The food is amazing, the owners and staff are the nicest people ever! I send my husband there to get food all the time, once a power outage happened and they could not process payments, the owner so kindly gave us our food anyway. They take pride in the food they make and the community the serve! Honestly if you’re in Dearborn I highly recommend!
