Saw a video on Tik Tok that was posted a few days ago and was so excited to try the Dubai chocolate sundae! It was good, but I will say my order looked nothing like the video and barely had any pistachio cream mix, it was mainly ice cream. The video asked how much you would pay for this and I was shocked it was normally $15. If there was more pistachio mix, I would understand but being mainly ice cream, made no sense. $8.99 was very high for what I received, personally. The video was clearly a money grab, and that’s why I feel it’s fair to write a review.
The strawberries & chocolate were very delicious though! & I did eat it.
They had a huge menu with great options, but the ice cream isn’t worth it in my opinion.

When you call the number it says they’re open till 11, they had a long line waiting outside at 10:30 pm and the girl locked everybody out and ignored us when we said they still have a half hour left, they’re going to loose a lot of business especially with it being Ramadan ppl eat later in the night, it was very disappointing especially after spending a lot of money there over the last year and some change smh. If I could leave this review without giving a star I would!

Dont go to custard company in dearborn!!! I went to go try the dubai strawberry sundae and it turned out being a horrible experience. I asked if they could make the Sundae without strawberries because I am allergic and the girl taking my order said that it was a bad time to order it that way because everything gets mixed I said no problem and ordered the Dubai infused cone. She told me they could not make it in a cone it had to be in a cup and I said no problem. my sister and her friend got there Sundaes while I waited for mine. A girl walks up to me and asks if it’s okay it does not have chocolate on it because they ran out. So she basically gave me a cup with knafa and vanilla ice cream. I was very confused because they were still serving cups with chocolate in them. I asked for a refund and as soon as I asked for a refund, everyone started treating me with an attitude. The first girl refunded the wrong order for $30 which my order was only $11. Thank God, I asked for a receipt or I would not have been refunded for my order and wouldnt have noticed that they had refunded the wrong order. Another girl came up with red hair and she refunded me the correct order while I turned around and looked at the receipt and she rudely said to me is there a problem?. I said yeah this is like a dollar short for what my card was charged. (Which i only mentioned the dollar short because i didnt think it was my order they refunded yet again..)The one girl goes well credit cards take out a fee and I said well I shouldn’t be charged for that because I didn’t end up getting anything and the girl with red hair proceeded to tell me I can grab you a dollar from the register if it’s that “serious to you”. At that point, I said yeah it is that serious because of how poorly I was being treated, she walked back and tossed the dollar at me. I will never return to this establishment. It is a bunch of young girls with attitudes working. Its literally being ran by of bunch of children. The right thing to do would’ve offered if I wanted anything else which I didn’t at that point. But the way everything was handled was embarrassing and I will never return. I will tell my friends and family the same. Dont go there unless you want children to talk to you poorly and have no idea what they are doing.

Came in today and got the dubi cup and asked for no ice cream and they wouldn’t make it without said only making them how there made which okay so we still ordered and when I tell you I was very disappointed in how the ice cream tasted. I ordered 3 and ended up tossing all of them. 😭

The Custard Co does NOT respond. In August I ordered a dubai chocolate ice cream. it looked and tasted nothing like how they advertised it to be like. I attached a picture of what I got and what they advertised to me. I paid $13 for this. For a little pistachio mix on top and a tiny sad drizzle of chocolate … $13?!!?! . I dmmed them in AUGUST and they did not respond.

I feel like their custard has changed recently. It used to be very creamy and flavorful, almost like soft serve. Now it kind of just tastes like frozen cool whip. Kind of bummed to lose my favorite ice cream joint!

I ordered Michigan Two Way and it was nearly at the end of the barrel. I got a small cup. Upon eating I kept encountering these weird ice chunks of all sizes. From small pebbles to little rocks. They would not melt in my mouth and were not ice cream. They were ice cream covered pieces of ice. I called the location to share what was in my ice cream. After I told them about it, they asked how they can help me. I would have assumed that they could tell me that instead. I asked them to not serve the bottom of the barrel to people if that's what's down there. The response: I'll see what I can do. I have spent lots of money there and this wasn't the experience that I am accustomed to. There were more than those in the picture. Those are just the ones left in the cup by the time I decided to take pictures. I had run into at least 8 before this.

They are on Uber eats and their address is correct. That's how I found this location. They're liars over there too. Definitely don't give this place business. They are on door dash right now too taking 1.5 hours to make my girls order who can't cancel it. They are super shady

the atmosphere is beautiful and the aesthetic is amazing but the ice cream is not good:( it’s way too milky. vanilla just taste like milk and chocolate just taste like milk with a slight chocolate flavor. the dubai ice cream was extremely disappointing and the kanafa/ pistachio was flavorless compared to other places i’ve tried. i tried it twice just to be sure i didn’t get a bad batch but was disappointed both times

The service was a little slow when we went, but there was only one person working in the back. My boyfriend loved their Oreo milkshake, but didn’t realize how massive the large was lol. I had their mint chocolate chip and blue moon ice cream which was really good. They don’t have any gluten free cookies or cakes which is a little disappointing, but they were selling keto and gluten free boxed cookies. I love the dim atmosphere of the store, but it is tiny with minimal seating and some people had to wait outside because it’s too cramped. I’ll definitely be back to try their shakes.

This was my first time tasting Ashta custard and it was delicious! The custard was injected with rose water syrup. I'm so glad that l tried something new! They offer several loaded cups that feature injected flavors like oreo, apple and strawberry shortcake.
The customer service was just as good as the custard!
