“One of my favorite American food restaurant. The selection is great something for any of us. Homemade bread and pastries top notch. Favorite ruebarb pie hands down. My favorite are the breakfast selections. The staff have always been helpful. No complaints. We drive 40 minutes to get there although there are restaurants within five minutes from our house. I say yes go. I saw a comment about the clientele being unfriendly. That's a development that has increased since 2016 and not limited to the Grove Cafe. Love this restaurant.”

I’ve been coming to Gun Lake every summer for 38yrs and this little building just down the gas station has been so many different things over the years that I’d basically written it off.

Well let me tell you, DO NOT write off C’s for pizza and BBQ.

I ordered 1lb of sliced brisket and meat lovers calzone. Every single bite was amazing.

Brisket: the size of the slice (a bit larger than your common “pencil thickness”) had a great bite to it. I had a nice cross section where flat turned into point which was delicious. The bark was dark and solid, yet not hard or crusty and the salt level on the outside was absolutely perfect…chef’s kiss.

Calzone was standard but also huge and very tasty.

As the 20-something TikTok influencers like to say…run, don’t walk, to C’s. Place is solid.”

“Java Jones has coffee and espresso prep down to a perfect science without being pretentious. I love a good latte and their pumpkin spice was honestly the best I’ve ever tasted. The barista, Jake, was knowledgeable and friendly, and gave me some good tips for my homemade latte experiments. From start to finish, even roasting their own beans, this family owed coffeeshop is one worth the visit!”

“Highly highly recommend this place. We tried it last weekend for the first time and we fell in love. My husband got grouper and said it was lovely. I loved my pasta that had shrimp in it and a white wine sauce. It was one of the best pastas. The staff was friendly and answered all the questions. The space was beautiful.”

I don't know who trains the ones that work at the take out counter, but there needs to be more!!!! Picked up an order and there was NO thank you, have a good night, or no smile!!! “We get takeout from Judds quite often and it’s always good and very consistent. Love the wingman! My family loves the garlic parm bites. Good selection of foods that are kid friendly along with plenty of flavorful options for adults. Menu is always evolving and there’s usually always a new special to try. This is my favorite restaurant in the Gun Lake community.”

“This place happens to be halfway between where my brother and I live. We met up here for the first time today and it was delicious! I have a gluten allergy and I was pleased with the amount of options for me. I had a salad and it was delicious. I can’t wait to go back!
