This place is the real deal of old skool dive bars. They don't serve food, but the area offers several carry out options that they are totally fine with patrons bringing in. The service is like you're talking to a long lost family member, and you're welcomed as one. The history of this place is bonkers! 119 years of the same family owning the corner bar.
There are all walks of life in this place, so you'll never feel like an outsider.

The best bar in Detroit. We came from Ireland and spent the night chatting with the loveliest people and great selection of drinks alongside even cooler history. This is one of the oldest bars in Detroit. Support them!!!!!

Very cool historic place! Was on a tour that stopped at this place. I would definitely go back and spend more time at this place. Would have never known about this place, but now I am glad I got to experience this place first hand.
