oh my lord.... my boys and i were on the way to MGM.... stopped here for beer... they didn't have any.... my boy conor decided to pull up on some shrimp for the boys..... it took awhile but it was well worth the wait..... my boy nick said, "it was the best shrimp i have ever had"
My favorite neighborhood carryout fish shop. Alaska Fish stays crowded because the food is so good. Please do yourself a favor and call ahead. The fish is always fresh. Meals come with fries, a drink and the tastiest cole slaw. They carry cheesecake from Peteet's. Prices are cheap, you can feed a family here without much money. The carryout restaurant is located in a strip mall on the southeast side of Nine Mile, just west of Coolidge. Parking in the front and side street of business.

Their jumbo fried shrimp is the BESTEST I don't like fried shrimp from any place else! It's best to call and order ahead. The menu is online if you use Yelp! You can have them add seasoning when you pick it up. Lemon pepper or Cajun. It so delicious I don't even use sauce . I feel like Homer Simpson drooling just thinking about it.
