Great dinner at Alpino! Sat at the bar and had an amazing meal with great German beer. Started with the Cavatelli which was delicious. The cheese and apples mixed in with the sage and pasta was a great combination. Finished with the schnitzel which was super crispy and had red cabbage on the side (a must try and any German style restaurant). The menu is seasonal and I already can’t wait to for my next trip to Detroit to check out what the chef has in store for the next menu!

I went to this restaurant with my fiancé and had an incredible time. It’s rare to find a good Piedmontese meal outside of northern Italy, but my Ragu was amazing. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and they gave us a card signed by all staff members to celebrate our upcoming wedding.

Such a lovely dinner. The food was incredible and the wait staff was genuinely the best we’ve had in as long as I can remember. Caroline is an absolute gem and we adored her. The whole experience was delightful, and we can’t wait to come back to enjoy the patio in warmer weather!

Alpino is a very good restaurant. The chef doesn't overwhelm you with choices, but I recommend checking the menu before you go since there may not be something for you.If you haven't had the Swiss/Alpine style food before, I recommend you explore the menu, and I'm confident you won't be disappointed.It is very reasonably priced and the staff was very, very friendly and super helpful with the menu.

their food is unique and extremely flavorful. i ordered the pesto risotto and my husband ordered their 6 oz filet mignon, which was on special. the risotto was potentially the best risotto i had the pleasure of eating. my husband's filet was perfectly seared. the desert was to die for! we had the rosette. it tasted like an apple pie fried ice cream. we would definitely come back again!my only comment would be the seating. it was extremely close together. i could hear everything that people were saying next to me. i was maybe 2 feet away from the person next to me at the booth, with about one foot of a distance between tables.

Loved this place! The ambience, service and food were all fantastic. We had the fondue, goulash and chestnut gnocchetti. The goulash was very a flavorful and soulful meal. The chestnut gnocchetti I would 100% order again. Excellent depth of flavor with all the components. We were too full for dessert although they all sounded amazing. We plan to return for their brunch! They do have a parking lot but it was full when we arrived, but there was street parking available.
