OMG FIRST TIME HERE I LOVE LOVE THE FOOD. THE FOOD HERE IS FIRE. ILL BE BACK YOU HAVE A FOREVER CUSTOMER. MAC & Cheese, Short ribs, collard greens, beef ribs, potato salad all delicious. Wonderful customer service. I was too busy eating so I couldn’t take pictures Thank you RED

Al's Soul Food is a must-visit for soul food lovers. The cheesy macaroni and bbq wings are cooked to perfection. The Yams are on point even for non-Yams lovers and were GOOD. Located a few miles from Detroit airport, it's worth the ride. The owner is incredibly generous. Customers praise the great sides and that ribs was the only meat that wasn't dry. The fried pork chops were fried perfect. The food is pretty good with tons of options and they even let you sample the peach cobbler. The staff is friendly and they love that you can taste before you buy.
