I live in Toledo, Ohio. I dropped my daughter and friend off at the Majestic Theatre Detroit. I had a craving for some Puerto Rican food. I found Asty Time Dominican Restaurant and decided to try it. Best decision for a restaurant that I have made in a long time.

Food: I order one thing at first but only had the taste for one thing on the plate and so I told my waiter and she was so kind & so was the cook/owner, they made me a new plate of what I wanted & asked how it taste & the food was amazing! Taste like it was made with so much love! & Lets not get into the variety of Dominican culture based foods they had, amazing flavors & options, tasty dulce de coco desert, AMAZING pina juice (I had like 5). Note from 2017, 8 years later, going strong a must visit . Holla yo Dominican food Wowsa this new place open only 2 months packing them in and dozens of carryout ordered while we there. Yeah we only Gringos in da house a hidden gem off beaten path worth the drive. Fast friendly beautiful decor painting and flags along with music will take you into the Dominican world.
