Not real impressed with this brewery. Service slow/scant. Need to beef up the personality behind the bar.Food not that great. Onion Rings burnt. Also this is not '$'! More like '$$'!Huge selection of Atwater Brews and a cocktail menu.Probably not be back.Lots of parkingAll handicapped accessible.Outdoor seating available.Do better Atwater.I never want to leave with a bad review and always want to see a business flourish.

This place is great! It’s got a chill vibe and great service. Ariba was our server and she was great, made our afternoon even more fun. Plus super delicious beer!

Really nice brewery and excellent beer. My buddies are IPA guys, but I prefer malty beers, and they have great selections of both. Try the giant big ole pretzel - awesome!

I never leave reviews, but wow! What an awesome taproom. Joe the GM is an absolute gem - incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Coming from the NYC for a visit Atwater did not disappoint. Highly recommended.

Place is as inviting as the workers! Games to play. Full food menu. Tons of beer options. Call to coordinate a weekend tour. Scott and other employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Rooftop open seasonally. City Pour is a tasty fruit flavored beer!

It is a very nice and entertaining place to go to eat and enjoy a beer, the music is very nice, the menu is simply perfect, and although the bathroom smells quite bad, it is not the worst of the problems this place has. It's unfortunate that customer service in the year 2024 is so bad. The three times that I have gone with my partner (we are both Latin) we have been treated in a very rude way. At first we thought it was a coincidence that they treated us so badly, but looking around we confirmed that the other people who were there They were treated very well Things like throwing away the food at the time of serving it, not cleaning the table when we arrived, not offering us a menu for at least 25 minutes, telling us that there was no service when it was clearly full of people, having a very bad attitude when answering questions about the menu, etc. I felt extremely discriminated in this place, I wouldn't recommend you go unless you fit into the “profile” of the people who go there. I don't understand why the bartender could have so much hatred towards a random person, especially with me he was very rude, when I spoke to him he looked away and made gestures as if he were listening to the silliest thing ever. I hope that from now on, this city becomes more tolerant of diversity, especially places like this. 0/10

Need beer? Joe and Jess are your people! They will hook you up with the beer of your desire. Personally I recommend the JVP on nitro (you can only get it here so enjoy it!!) bonus the building is historical as it used to be one of the first breweries in Detroit!

We love Atwater. It’s a fantastic walk along the river front and they’ve not only go new taps but a gorgeous new little park next to it. Go see Joe! He’s super fun, the food and beer are excellent, and you’ll have a lovely time

Atwater knows how to make some great beers spanning the gamut from lighter to darker. Their beer really is top notch. The brewery space itself has a typical but pleasant gastropub atmosphere. The food was perfectly fine but nothing special - not up to the same caliber as their phenomenal beers.
