I had a breakfast for about 40 people on Sunday morning, 6/15/25, at Avalon/Jolly Pumpkin and it couldn't have gone better. The easy, low key, fun atmosphere was exactly what I hoped for and we lucked out with the weather because the outside area is also great. I ordered breakfast sandwiches, pastries, mixed greens and drinks from the catering menu and all were delicious and enjoyed by everyone. Got a vanilla coffee - loved the flavor! Tasted like vanilla bean paste was added instead of just vanilla syrup. Breakfast bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was tasty but not enough of it. 2 small pieces of bacon with a large bun - all I felt I ate was bread. Loved the inside and atmosphere and would go back.
Sandwiches are decent, breakfast baked goods not so much. Toasted bagel with cream cheese came out as a stale bagel doused in melted butter with a small side of cream cheese. Not sure if the butter was an attempt to hide the staleness but it definitely was not what I ordered.
