Awake is amazing! Delicious coffee and pastries, great atmosphere with good music and fun books to look through while waiting for your order. Johnny and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. I would go everyday if I could! The messages on the cup sleeves always seem to be just what I need to read as well!

I tried the Frosted Oatmeal Cookie Latte and loved it it was flavorful and sweet without overpowering the coffee. The everything bagel with cream cheese was convenient and tasty. Customer service was great and the space is perfect for studying or relaxing with a book. A wonderful spot Iâm glad I discovered.

This is toast, bacon and oatmeal. Literally one piece of bacon cut into 3 pieces is an order of bacon and one piece of toast. I just called and immediately the manager got defensive and said it only cost $2.50. Definitely wonât be back.

I love this place and come here all the time. They wrote âgod is our refugeâ on my cup most recently, and it didnât sit right with me. I respect that god may be your refuge and strength but he ainât mine! Letâs not push Christian/catholic beliefs in a small coffee shop by Wayne state this feels like a hate crime lolll
