The food was amazing. The cover charge should be explained that it will included on your bill. The server was terrible he didn't want no help so he could all the tips. Waited 45 place a order. Each time we needed to order something it was at least a 45 minute wait before he would come back. I will order food to go until they get more servers.
Back in the day I used to come to bakers keyboard lounge on a regular. It has changed just a little. The owner was awesome and the staff was phenomenal. It was comedy night and it was cool. They just didn't have any desserts at all. But the comedy show was awesome
Baker’s is both a piece of Detroit history and jazz/blues history. It’s a must if you like jazz/blues, or, if you like checking out historical locations around Detroit. The atmosphere if from a time gone by. The seating is wild (remarkably small tables for 2. They didn’t have a cover the last few times I was there but they do when big acts are playing. Parking is a secured lot (I can’t remember if it’s free or not) attached to the building although you have to walk around...
