I standing looking at the menu and lady in front of me said I can use the other kiosk. I said I was looking at the menu and I asked her what was she getting and she said she always gets the crispy fried chicken rice bowl. So, I ordered the crispy fried chicken rice bowl. The chicken was really delicious. Normally I mix my food for some odd reason I didn’t this time. It was fulfilling. I actually want to go back and try the salmon bowl. Overall the food was good. Service was fast. I didn’t wait longer than 5 minutes. The atmosphere is always amazing. More people need to get and try different things.

Worst BAO I have ever had. Got tofu bao, the bao was sticky, tofu was so dry and the lack of sauce didn’t make it any better to chew. Thai iced tea with oat milk looked like milk was curdled. Definitely not worth the health risk.

The tom yum noodle was the only thing we enjoyed from here. The “famous” pad thai roll was really not my style and the buns had too sweet of a sauce.

The fried broccoli is incredible and not available elsewhere in metro Detroit. Other options, spicy fried chickens, crab rangoons are also delicious 😋

I am obsessed with Bangkok 96 Street Food! As someone who is completely gluten free (allergic to gluten) the fact that I could have FRIED CHICKEN completely gluten free and it was so delicious and I kept dreaming of it all week while in Detroit! The atmosphere of the space is so great, I sat down to eat (while traveling alone) and met so many people around me because they were all curious about what I was eating.

Cool open area concept with a few dinning options. Order at kiosk and seat yourself. The candy beef was very goid

Why does the online site state they are open at 12pm on Wednesdays yet they’re closed. Irritating.

It is a great spot for bold, flavorful Thai dishes in a fun, casual setting. The food is fresh, nicely spiced, and full of authentic street-food character. Portions are generous, service is quick, and the atmosphere inside Detroit Shipping Company makes it a lively place to grab a bite. Definitely worth a visit.

The pad thai roll looks and sounds appealing but do not be fooled unless you want unflavored rice noodles in a large unflavored rice noodle with some sauce on the top/side. I’m sure some of their other food is good but with so many other great Thai options in the city I would never get this again.

Detroit Shipping Company is a family favorite when we come to the city. Last time we were here, a friend ordered the crispy broccoli and offered a taste. It was so good! Today I ordered it for myself and I gorged myself, give it a try, it doesn’t even taste like broccoli!! And it has a tasty aioli drizzle that takes it to the next level!

No big signs that says bangkok 96. I had to ask the bar servers. You can order from the kiosk. They don't have much varieties to choose from but their food are good!
