The food might have been good, but I would NEVER EVER know based on the very poor service or lack there of… Got there at 8:15pm when the restaurant close at 9pm. Waited 20 mins to told in a round about way they didn’t want us to stay & was told that a bulk of the dishes were unavailable. If you are the owner reading this…. Please Find more help and order more food. Would have loved to try your food to rate the quality and taste.

The food was delicious lite and filling. I had the fish that was very flavorful with both types of rice. I like the second rice better than the coconut rice. The chicken was good just wished it could've been a chicken breast. Next time I will try the goat shank it looked delicious. The avocado desert surprised me and was delicious and lite. Nankya was simply a beautiful hostess with excellent recommendations.Vegetarian options: Food isn't loaded with oils, sugar, the corn salad was delicious the peanut butter spinach was tastyDietary restrictions: No paprika, lite, other options, hostess food awarenessKid-friendliness: No kids were there on my visit, if your kid is a healthy eater then yes. I don't recommend for kids because they wouldn't appreciate better eating habits.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair accessibility into the building and 1 private wheelchair accessible restroom. Easy to get to from downtown via the q-line. We went for lunch, and service time was decent. Ordered the spice coffee, nyumbani, mhogo, and tamu. Everything was delicious, especially the nyumbani! The tamu was pretty interesting, in a good way---it had lots of passion fruit flavor. Loved the decor and vibe too!
