The cafe au lait was almost all milk. I barely tasted the coffee and chicory.

It can get very crowded, but there are lots of vendors if you are coming to shop for groceries. There were even a few live musicians.

Looks so sad with barely any shoppers. The meat looks so fresh, too.
🤪Delicious Beignets and the strongest coffee I've ever had in my life LOL Definitely worth the trip to Shed 5 in the Eastern Market !! Professional service, yes credit cards are accepted and there are comfy tables nearby to sit and enjoy your spoils. This will be a weekly trip for me, weather permitting. $7.00 for three, delicious, powder-sugar ladened beignets?! Doesn't get any better than that.. I had the raspberry and dark chocolate and I'm ready to take on the weekend! 🥰
Market shuts down a little before 4 pm. So get there earlier.
