Besa is my second time going. The food is out of this world. The waitress is very nice. The French fries are amazing. Everything on the menu is fabulous. I’m already planning taking my brother again and friends there.
Modern, warm, and buzzing. This Adriatic restaurant brings flare and a lot of flavor to downtown Detroit. The service was standout - Alex’s patience and articulation of the dishes brought the menu to life. The trout was like nothing I’ve had before. Chef does not hold back on seasoning!
My two notes: fries need to be crisped up a bit, and the mocktails need a bit more carbonation to give them that zing.

First, I want to acknowledge my waitress, Claire. She was amazing; her hospitality was definitely the highlight. I’ll be back just based on her service alone. She was attentive and kind—give my girl a raise; she deserves it. The food was great, different from what I’m used to, and I’m glad I tried it. The ribeye was cooked perfectly. The broccolini with that tomato-based sauce is superb, and the fries were fresh and crunchy. The lamb shoulder was something I wasn’t used...
