Super impressed. The pizza was excellent. Delicious crust and a flavorful sauce. Then the salads as well? The antipasto salad was amazing. I hope to be back soon, I was blown away.

Jaida, the bartender, is the best! Very personable and positive, great service, loves Detroit, and serves every beer in an ice cold glass up to the brim. Loved the meatballs and the pizza too!

Took some time before work to order a single order of Cheese Bread and was instead given a ham pizza with pineapple that looked to be partially eaten already. How does something like this happen? It's a show of irresponsibility from the staff and lack of care with the food we eat. A waste of the time I took to pick it up and the money I spent. Disgraceful and whoever handed me this should be completely ashamed.

Buddy Pizza, I’m sure is a good place when there are game at Ford stadium or Detroit tiger stadium. Pizza is a delicious pan style, I high quality Pizza Hut pizza. No comparing to New Haven.

I love this place. We found it by accident and it was the best choice for the day. I had Detroit zoo pizza and it tasted really good.

I read a blog about the best vegan pizzas in Detroit, and Buddy's was ranked # 2. After trying it, I think the blogger was quite generous with their review. In comparison to the other pizza spots that were on that list, I would say Buddy's was towards the bottom. The pizza was bland. However, we built our own pizza for our kids, and it was a ton better than the veggie pizza they have on the menu. But if you're looking for a spot to eat a decent pizza, drink beer, and watch sports, Buddy's works.Vegetarian options: Items aren't labeled vegan. We had to ask and find out what ingredients they use in the dough and the sauces.

We decided to try Detroit deep dish pizza and we weren't disappointed. This is a must visit place if you're in Detroit for a few hours. Love the service, the atmosphere, and most of all the fantastic food!

We strongly recommend you try Buddy's Pizza if you haven't had the chance yet. Especially, the gluten-free Pizza crust so soft and yummy! We received prompt and friendly service from beginning to the end of our dinning experience. Martez, our server was a blast and a huge part of our fantastic time there. John from the kitchen helped us out with making formative decisions to meet my childs' dietary health needs. We were a party of 9 but treated like a party of 2 with the efficient, quick and fabulous service. Now if you can open a location in Toronto, Canada tgat would be greatly appreciated. We have a huge community that us missing out on your service and that Amazing gluten-free pizza crust. People are missing out.

It’s a shame that you can go to a restaurant and forced to pay gratuity for less than gracious service. I went to Buddy’s in Detroit today and sat at the bar to eat and enjoy a cocktail. I was the only person at the bar yet the bartender “forgot” about my cocktail yet had no problem serving and fixing drinks for multiple people who simply walked up to the bar several minutes after I ordered my drink. Also just a heads up for all the gluten-free patrons the gluten free crust was lack luster . Very dense and it was served to me in thin aluminum foil in which the bread and cheese was sticking to. I had to carefully cut and peel the slices of pizza off the aluminum foil in order not to digest. I left unsatisfied with my experience.
