First of all the location is great, we left Comerica park and walked right over to Buddy's in minutes. Service was fast, food came out quick, waitress was super nice. I have seen mixed reveiws for the Detroit style pizza from here but we wanted to give it a go especially being so close to the ball field. We all thought the pizza was great, crispy crust, crispy pepperoni 🤌 cheese and sauce ratio was good. Sauce tasted great! They even had Banana beer and Party...
Buddys Detroit pizza is NOT Chicago or New York pizza 😂. Honestly, Jet’s, Domino’s, and Little Caesars basically qualify as Detroit-style. I got those three names straight from the locals, and after actually eating them in the past, I can’t even argue with them. 😂🍕
Had never been to Detroit. Went to a Tigers game across the street, and asked a friend that grew up in Michigan for a recommendation for Detroit style pizza while in town. Did not disappoint! 14 thumbs up from our group.
