I'm sad that this place is closing. I used to love this spot on Fridays after work in the late 90s. I have no idea why they're closing. Even tho I'm on the left side of the state. We need a moment of silence for the Texas butter toast & baked potatoes the size of my head. 😂
I have been here 100's of times and 99 percent of the time they do an amazing job with the food.

After hearing so many good things about Capers, I decided on an off day to order. Living in the Detroit area all of my life, I'd never eaten here before and decided to order a carryout. The young lady taking the orders gave a suggestion of a t-bone steak, as it was on special for $1.85 per ounce, with 12 ounces being the smallest.
