First of all let me say this was my first time here won’t be my last. I just wanted some macaroni. He tired to offer me a small bowl lol but we worked it out lol needless to say that macaroni was so damn moist n creamy he satisfied my cravings added some crab meat with the hot water corn bread babbyyyyy. Then he threw in some peach cobbler that damn thing tasted similar to my grandma. I’m sure if I try the rest of the menu I won’t be disappointed.

It’s EXTREMELY hot! We had to wait in the car. Our drinks were warm because they didn’t have any ice. I ordered Kool aid that was good but warm. I asked for one smothered chop and one fried but ended up in gravy. The pork chop was very bland along with the gravy, definitely needed more seasoning. Man and cheese, candied yams were Delicious! Hot water cornbread was good! Prices were decent. I will definitely come back but not for a pork chop.

The food was delicious. This was on our must try in Detroit list and it didn’t disappoint. The guy working the counter was grumpy. Not friendly at all! If I wasn’t with my son I probably would’ve ran the heck out. It looks scary and smells like gas but the food is great.
