Never again I spent my whole lunch hour lunch break in that place and had to take my food to go

Use to eat breakfast there. The food is never like I order it. Tried at least 3 times, but no change. Every since the older lady sold it to the waitress, the food has been trash. Me and my family and friends stop going there.

Turkey chops was half done 45.00 two dinners and a side of turkey chops it was a waste of money I will be going back to southern smoke house for now

They didn't know I was scouting out a Black owned restaurant for me and my 2 brothers to support. A couple times a month we like to have breakfast. I did a carryout. Salmon Croquettes, scrambled eggs soft and grit's. Got home and stuck my folk in the grit's and there was a lump of grit's as big as a sliver half dollar. Hard lump couldn't mash it up. Most of the grit's was like that. The eggs were like they had cooked them earlier that morning and had them sitting around waiting to be ordered. Croquettes didn't disappoint me. So you figure 3 guys spending $90 a month with a $40 tip. They really lost out.

This is the old Connie and Barb. They haven't upgraded anything. The place looks like a fire and health hazard. The kitchen is disgusting. The appliances antique. The ceiling and floors and walls got dirt from 10 years. They could have painted the place and cleaned. Food was gross too. Instant microwave rice. Eggs seemed like liquid eggs. And grits so lumpy it was like concrete mortar. Avoid at all cost.

Amazing lady on the phone who took my order first trying to try the place for the 1st time but then I get nothing but funny looks an asked for my order it was sitting on the table the whole time instead the old lady completely ignores me does a bunch of other things then comes back an says "oh yes your order is ready " since the second I walked in it was there mind you I'm on break I work around the corner never again idk if it's cause I'm a foreigner or what happened there butyeah ....

The name may have changed but the breakfasts are still great

Great tasting affordable food...the best Salmon Croquettes around..

Old school never plays out and this place is a great example of that. Breakfast and Burgers by Cutters is bringing that Eastern Market flavor to the West side while keeping the signature dishes like Salmon croquettes from Connie and Barb's. Great place to grab a bite to eat and chill for a minute.

Put in a to go order. The site said fifteen minutes but it was ready when I got there in about ten. It was what you would expect if you've been to Cutters. The atmosphere is pretty basic and the other things with it were fine but the meat especially the red meat is the best stuff you're going to get anywhere. I had the beef and cheese omelette which had a very generous portion of beef sausage for a very reasonable price and was not disappointed at all. Will definitely be coming back.
