Initially walking in, I loved the place. Decor is cool and eclectic, they have herbs for sale etc. I had a reservation for 3, we ended up with 4 people which luckily was not a big deal. We are sat in the greenhouse area I believe that is referred to as a patio in reservations, though I chose the dining room. It’s easy to overlook this gem tucked away in a small marina located between a public boat launch onto the Detroit River and two other park that are right on the river’s edge. The restaurant itself is located on the marina / canal system that extends through the adjacent neighborhood. Their attentive staff is warm and laid back and the food is gourmet level. Great place to take any group. It’s kid friendly, date friendly etc. It would be simpler to say “people friendly.” The food is top shelf and I have never been disappointed in the service with other 20 visits. Highly recommend.
