I celebrated NYE here and had a wonderful experience, danced til close! I was the last one there and the owner Anelia waited until my ride came. Such a historical and beautiful old place, thanks again everyone that contributed!!!
Jess makes you feel like family! We come by everytime we’re in corktown just to see her 😁
4 of us were charged a $10 cover to get into an empty bar, waited at least 5 minutes before being acknowledged to order drinks, and even then we basically had to flag the bartender down. When the rest of our party showed up (another 10-15 people), the door guy refused to let any of them in unless they paid $10 too. We left after 10 minutes, only one of us ever got a drink, & he wouldn’t give us a refund because we “entered the bar”

Corktown Tavern is a historical and beautiful place in Corktown. They offer self-serve drinks and have a full cocktail bar. There are two separate restaurants serving different foods, with the Mexican place being particularly good. The staff is friendly and the service is great. Despite some issues with seating and the upstairs area, it's a favorite spot for many to drink and enjoy games like duck pin bowling and darts.
