Went here after a musical at the Detroit Opera House. Good atmosphere. Decent selection of drinks. Food is fried chicken in the back of the restaurant. We didn't eat, but many people were ordering and it smelled amazing. Atmosphere is like a warehouse. We enjoyed it.
I suggested this restaurant as it was close to The Fillmore prior to a show [IDLES]. The staff were very accommodating and made nice recommendations. I didn't have it, but people raved about the homemade chicken noodle soup including my new friend for the show. I decided to have the Salmon BLT and it was fantastic enough to the point I question if it wild even though there wasn't an indicator, but it was certainly sockeye variety. If I go to The Fillmore again instead...
We had to wait 30 minutes for a table at about 5:00 PM on a Sunday evening. There are very limited choices but what we ordered was great; mac&cheese and sliders. It’s a very small place - the staff is friendly and attentive and the prices were good. Easy walk from our hotel (Whitney).
