This was my first time going here, but I’ve seen a lot of pictures. The vibe was cool. I mean it’s a club so there’s obviously not too much going on. They did have a little area with kind of like air hockey, which was nice and fun. Then, obviously the sitting area of the club is where it’s all colorful and it’s pretty chill because you can still kind of like talk without the music being too up in your face. This place is cool. The design and concept is very much a golden gem of Detroit. I came here alone and had a grand ol ghetto ball off gin and tonic’s. I danced like it was 1989 in my cowboy boots
Deluxx Fluxx is a visually striking space with lots of energy. The neon, music, and arcade games give it a unique atmosphere, though the games feel more decorative than central. The crowd leans younger, and as someone in my 40s we realized it wasn’t really our scene. Nothing wrong with the place, it delivers on the club experience it’s going for but if you’re expecting a true arcade bar or a more relaxed spot to hang out, you may want to look elsewhere.
