Went to Detroit City Distillery as a co-host for a tour group of 20 people. We went for a tour of the distillery and was BLOWN away! Ryan was our tour guide and he did a fantastic job! He saw that due to inclement weather our group may be arriving early, so he showed up early and got us going. He met us with some cool beverages and then took our group on a journey where we not only learned about the neat history of the building and distillery, but about what makes a good bourbon....
Houston is amazing! ❤ She was exceptionally knowledgeable about each Detroit Distillery bourbon, gin, and vodka that was available! Combined with her personability, it provided for an extremely pleasurable experience! She was definitely a blessing to me and my Mom, and you guys are incredibly blessed to have her!🤗
We loved the whiskey and gin. The bottles are unique, the flavors were great, and the prices were very reasonable. We ended up buying five bottles.
The only downside was the tasting experience. The employee conducting the tasting made several comments that made us and other customers uncomfortable. Also, the checkout process took much longer than expected, and we eventually had to ask another employee to assist us.
