I walked over from the Greektown parking garage and went here prior to the Red Wings game on 2/27/2024. The two young ladies working behind the bar and also out on the floor were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Tom, the shuttle bus driver, was terrific. I'll definitely be back!

The name of this place is a great example of the vibe inside this bar. There isn't a better place to have a couple beers, eat some appetizers and watch a Tigers or Lions game. The people who work here are wonderful and they're always very friendly and attentive. I came here to watch the Lions game on Christmas Eve, had a few blue moons and ate some delicious fried pickles and French fries. This place seems to have regulars who are extremely friendly and welcoming. The Detroiter is my favorite go-to bar in Detroit.

Old style bar in the tradition of neighborhood pubs, with a comfortable, weathered feel. I can't comment too much on the food, but I'm led to understand that it's typical bar fare. I did have the Reuben sandwich with fries, and it was great.If you are interested in a relaxing place for a couple of drinks with friends, stop in and check it out. I think you'll like it.
