Pegasus Taverna Reviews
Super authentic, everything is made fresh and with expertise! We booked for our large group - Michigan Hypnosis Conference and they catered to our needs on multiple days with grace!
Absolutely wonderful experience here! The atmosphere is fantastic and they make it really fun with the opa style flaming cheese.
We had a large party attending the Michigan Hypnosis Conference just down the street and then we kept adding more people and the staff was still and never complained. Having worked as a server for many years I know how annoying and stressful that can be, but you never would’ve guessed that they were anything but happy to see us.

Pegasus Taverna is a popular Greek restaurant in Detroit that is known for its delicious sangrias and a variety of Greek dishes, including saganaki and stuffed grape leaves. The lamb shank is a standout dish, falling off the bone and melting in the mouth. The restaurant also offers flaming cheese, which many customers love. The service is friendly and welcoming, with staff that make guests feel at home, including the owner who greets visitors with a smile. The restaurant features fresh, thick cut ethnic bread that is soft and spongy, a favorite among guests. It is wheelchair accessible, although space between tables is limited. Some visitors mention the difficulty in reaching the restaurant due to road conditions and lack of clear sidewalk access, but overall, it remains a trusted spot for authentic Greek food in the area.
