Dime Store is one of my favorite brunch spots in downtown Detroit. The place has a cool vibe since it’s located inside a historic bank building, which makes the atmosphere feel unique and lively. It’s usually busy, but the energy adds to the experience.

The food is fresh and creative. I tried their pancakes and a breakfast sandwich, and both were delicious and well-presented. The portions are generous, and the ingredients taste high quality. Their coffee and brunch cocktails are also great if you want something extra with your meal.

The service was friendly and quick even though the restaurant was packed. Overall, Dime Store is a great place for brunch with friends or family if you’re visiting downtown Detroit. Definitely worth checking out.

Delicious! Had the braised beef Benny! Listed as a chef special, get it while you can! I was told the braised beef is temporary, was tender delicious and not fatty. Totally recommend! My brunch mate got the biscuits and gravy bowl, delicious as well. Cool place with good vibe! Bloody Mary pitcher, spicy, also did not disappoint. I can only imagine how good the other menu items are, I will be back to find out.

I crave the Duck Bop Hash (I always order this!), and we tried the Spicy Korean Fries with shaved ribeye - delicious!

Went for brunch after the Claressa vs. Franchón fight. Franchón came in to eat with her team. Server Amber was kind and serving. I got the duck. My +1 got braised beef Benny. Neither were to write home about but the atmosphere was cool.

The veggie hash was insanely good! The Brussels in my hash were cooked perfectly, the jam that came with the English muffins…incredible! Hubs got the salmon salad and said it was top shelf with a cherry vinaigrette. The service was fast and friendly! The “waiting area”, which is the original Dime building is gorgeous! Lots of areas to wait for your table comfortably :)

Solid brunch spot. Cold Salmon Bennie was good, eggs cooked well and great hollandaise. Too many onions for my taste though and over toasted English muffin made it fall a little flat. The special Kung Pao chicken hash was fantastic! Highly recommend.

I had the Mushroom, goat cheese omelette with onion. It was perfectly balanced and delicious! They don't overdo it with the cheese or fried onions which is where I think a lot of places go wrong. The bread is so good too, I'm generally not a huge bread person but I was impressed. My husband didn't love his dish, the Mexican skillet but it was because he thought it had too many flavors and not enough spice. I thought it was tasty when I tried it. The place is a little small but since we got there early it wasn't too busy. They were gracious and allowed me to bring my drink in (we got there too early and it was freezing so we stood in Starbucks until they opened so I grabbed something there) and the staff was all extra kind to us. Definitely will be back!

The vibe was cool. The bar stools were too small. The service was great. The omelet was good. The bacon was tough and chewy. The hash browns were good. The gravy on the biscuits and gravy seemed like it coulda been from a jar, though the buscuit was good. The place came highly recommended, but after visiting once, I don't know why.

This location has fallen off really bad. I had the breakfast potatoes and they were basically fries.Super hard and crunchy. No bacon on actual fries, but bacon on breakfast potato fries is weird. I hope management takes these things into account and make adjustments because this is one of my fav breakfast spots downtown.
