This is where I had dinner on a Sunday morning on a business trip to Detroit. Even though we went early, it was crowded and the food service was a bit slow, but they were friendly and the food was delicious.
This place was such a gem to find. Very few places have made me feel utter joy after a meal and Dime Store is one of them. The menu is incredibly creative, thanks to changing seasonal ingredients from local farms. I was astounded by the flavor of the duck op hash with a garnish of pickled veggies, with an English muffin paired with house-made strawberry jam ($18 is very reasonable for that). First time here today (not sure why)
Waited about an hour after placing ourselves on the waiting list but it was a nice day so we walked around and explored the neighborhood. Came back and were rewarded with our delicious meals and Bloody Mary!
