District Seventy8 Reviews
Husband and I went for dinner before a concert. I feel like they are trying to be a nice like steak house type restaurant, but they fell way short. No physical menus. We had to wait for glasses to be washed for drinks. Got an app, 2 drinks, and 2 dinners...$220!!! No physical receipt either. Just what the waitress told us. Not sure if they automatically add a tip or what but if each entrée were $60 each, $20 for an app, then how much were the 2 drinks?!! Jack and cokes...nothing...read full review
Last night, I had an awful experience at a restaurant. District Seventy8 I ordered a glass of wine and the salmon dinner, and after waiting patiently, the food arrived. Unfortunately, the salmon was overcooked and burnt. I kindly asked the bartender to send it back, and she was very nice about it. A man came out, asking if I needed assistance. I told him that I was just waiting for my new order. He interrupted, saying, “Oh, the burnt salmon? Don’t worry, it’s being remade.”...read full review

District Seventy8 offers an enjoyable dining experience with good food, a lively atmosphere, and attentive management. The menu features dishes like Braised Lamb Chops, Charred Caesar Salad, and Red Snapper, all of which receive positive comments. The open and inviting environment, combined with friendly service from the host, creates a pleasant visit. However, parking can be difficult, especially during busy times, and the restrooms are located downstairs. The music can be very loud, making conversation challenging at times, although it was somewhat lowered during some visits. Drinks, such as the Pink Starburst Martini, are highly praised, and the food, including mini sliders, truffle fries, and Brussels sprouts, is often enjoyed. Service can vary; while the host team is very accommodating, there are reports of slow service from some servers, with orders sometimes being incomplete. Overall, District Seventy8 is a lively spot worth visiting for its vibrant vibe, flavorful dishes, and friendly management, although management could improve the tipping policy for the hardworking staff.
