I just got in from Cincy, wanting to try Detroit-style Coneys for the first time and this place didn't let me down. It was very no-frills: I got in there, got a drink, quickly got my food, paid and left. It took greater effort to park. I will say it was a little messier than I expected: the snap of the first bite about broke the dog and I needed quite a bit of napkins. Regardless it was tasty and affordable. I can see why the locals love this place. I can't recommend...
I moved to Michigan 4 years ago with my guy. We both love Detroit and the amazing history and the incredible people. Duly's is Detroit history. I had a simple breakfast and the breakfast potatoes were AMAZING! My guy had an Omelette and he loved it. Everything tasted great, fresh and prepared as we ordered it. The atmosphere was perfect and the guys behind the counter offered great service, they were efficient and friendly. I believe that Duly's is a true an honest picture...
Very delicious food. I got eggs and Hashbrowns and probably the best coney dog I've had, and my partner got pancakes. Both meals were great. Atmosphere felt like a dive from a 1970's TV show where the detective meets the killer in private before giving him a new breathing hole because the law won't touch him, but your not coming here for that, your here for the food. I'll definitely be coming back again.
