The food is amazing. But it’s hard to reach them to place an order or get correct days that they are open.

This restaurant recently reopened its doors to the public and I recommend you visit! The food is awesome and reminds me of the cooking back home. I live near this spot so it’s good to know that I can get quality soul food from an acclaimed chef like Anthony. He took care of me with the alligator bites. I highly recommend and will return!

Thanks to Chef Anthony this was the most amazing soul food I've had in a really long time. Anthony is very friendly, and sociable. Even though I came in 10 minutes before closing time he was nice enough to explain the culinary history within his family. I had yams, greens, mac n cheese, and cornbread. I never tasted cornbread like this it was so good!
I'm from the South and lived there 45 years. I can tell you this place is the real deal. Anthony is super friendly and the food is amazing. Hands down the best fried okra I've had in southeast Michigan. The jerk chicken spices are perfectly balanced with the just the right amount of heat. Highly recommend!
