The atmosphere is very beautiful. The service was amazing and fast. The food was amazing. I had gumbo and it's one of my favorite go to. The owner was in and he went around and talked to all the customers and he even showed a few customers around the establishment. Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious food and a great atmosphere! I don't usually repeat restaurants, but I will be returning to Fixins.

Our group of six had a great experience at Fixins! We didn't think we were very hungry when we arrived and, oh how that changed lol. The food we saw at other tables looked amazing and the menu had so many selections we absolutely had to try. We enjoyed appetizers, dinners, sandwiches, sides and desserts. Then we ordered more to take home. Our waiter, Joshua, was helpful and patient as we kept ordering more! The atmosphere is fun and festive. Well done, Fixins!

I spent my birthday there last night had a fabulous dinner and the staff was fabulous as well. Would definitely come back again and again and again ☺️🙌🏾🙌🏾😋❤️

Great place and location. Sever were friendly and showed hospitality. Restroom and dining were clean

Our dinner was very good. The server was great very friendly and attentive. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice we will definitely be going back.

I placed a takeout order to go. It was the Omelette Chicken & Potatoes. It was good. I think the chicken needed to be seasoned and in smaller chunks.

Everything about my experience here was GREAT! You won't be disappointed, the PYT drink was amazing!!!

We made reservations but it wasn't very busy. However it took a few minutes to get seated. Waitress very nice but could've been more attentive. Plus she didn't mention anything about happy hour we happen to read it. Food came out really fast which we appreciated since we were going to the Piston's game. Food was hot and good. We are repeat customers and we will be back.

Not having a place to hang coats made it uncomfortable for 8 people sitting in a booth. Need better seating to accommodate large parties.

This restaurant is amazing in reference to the food taste, service and ambiance. I actually got a chance to say hello to the owner a nba great Kevin Johnson and he was very welcoming. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to locals and out of towners as we are from Chicago.... Thank-You for your pleasant dining experience....

Truly great soul food. Oxtail, Mac & cheese, collard greens all amazing. Service is very casual, but the dishes are great. Host&server did not tell us there was auto grat because we were a group of 6 until we all paid, tipped and asked for a receipt. Server also did not want us to split the bill evenly 6 ways and told us it's too late to do that and she's over it, but in fact did do it anyways because she said whatever it's eod and it's her last table of her night. I'd go again for the food and not the service.
