“It’s great to see so many black owned food spots in one venue. Great hub for the community. They even host events for the locals. Seating is limited indoors but has tables outside. Street parking Is also limited so find parking wherever you can. Everything from wings to hibachi, ice cream to Mexican, seafood to smoothies. Question truly is what do you want to eat???“

“Try the cardiac burger, served in a glazed donut. The price is a little steep, but for downtown Detroit not too bad. The selection in the market is good—BBQ chicken from the pit is good value and the sauce selection while limited, are all good.“

“Hands down the best burger I’ve had. MotorBurger completely exceeded my expectations. The classic motor burger itself was cooked to perfection! juicy, flavorful, and packed with that rich, beefy taste that hits just right. And the burger sauce? Absolutely incredible. Tangy, savory, and perfectly balanced it elevated every bite and tied the whole burger together beautifully. The French fries were amazing as well as they were perfectly crispy and fantastically seasoned.

Beyond the food, the atmosphere was just as impressive. Located in a trendy Detroit shipping company complex, the vibe is modern, lively, and full of energy. It’s the kind of place that makes the entire dining experience feel special whether you’re out with friends or just treating yourself.

Visited this restaurant for the second time as a Jamaican-American and all I can say is I left with a full belly, a smile, and pure vibes. I ordered Ackee and Saltfish, Calaloo, Roast Breadfruit, and Food (Boiled Banana, Boil Dumpling, and Boiled Yams). Everything was like I was back ah yaad. The plate was packed to perfection. The Ackee and Saltfish wasn’t over salted and both were balanced receiving a generous serving complete with Breadfruit. The Calaloo was perfectly seasoned pairing very well with the Food. Overall, I will be back for a third time to try other dishes.“
