Having been long time fans of Founders Beer when in the Detroit area it was a must to make a stop. At first as you start approaching you find the area a bit disconcerting with all the abandoned.building and empty lots. Don’t fret as before you know it Founders little piece of heaven appears. Was walking through Detroit and came upon this brewery. Great atmosphere, delicious beer, and tasty food. What more can you ask for?!Definitely a great spot to enjoy a beer with your friends, or colleagues, or whomever you want to enjoy a delicious treat with!Great service and friendly staff.
My husband and I love Founders - the beer, the food, the atmosphere are all stellar. We also LOVED the pizza and I wish they would bring it back! Even if there were a dedicated "pizza night" or it was "order and pay ahead" for the pizza, it would be well worth any extra effort. That being said, we certainly will continue to come to Founders and enjoy all the other great aspects of the restaurant.
