Danny is the man. Hidden gem of a deli in the city. Everything taste great, is quick, and very reasonably priced. If you looking for somewhere for a quick lunch or breakfast this is it.

Great Rueben for breakfast: tender, well balanced with kraut, Russian dressing, & Swiss on grilled light rye. Also huge.
Tiny place filled with snacks & beverages.
2 high top tables, 4 stools.
Atmosphere is perfect for an establishment of its type. (It's not the Monarch, and isn't trying to be.)
Very friendly staff, knowing their customers well. No wait for service at 10a.m.

While I visiting Detroit from South Carolina, I was strugging to find a GOOD LOCALLY owned breakfast spot... until I came across Frank's Deli. I was extrememly humbled to find a place that made delicious hot food. Frank's is truly a gem! The ham, egg, and cheese croissant was so fresh and tasty, and the Chowder was out of this world!!! Frank obiously puts love in to everything he makes. I cannot recommend this place enough. Him and his wife were so friendly, and my belly...
