Food was ok, I ordered an old fashion and I was not impressed. 2nd one came with ice cubes and no cherry. Not what I expect for $30+ per

Bad service and disappointing food. Me and my husband went for our Anniversary and we had very high expectations on this restaurant. The lady that took care of us took forever to place our order (literally 40min after we sat on our table) and, when she did, she didn’t do it right, and it happened twice (with my drink and with our soups). The pizza was good, the rest of the food was not tasty at all. The food took almost two hours to be ready. I couldn’t even eat my chicken piccata since it was very salty and had too many capers with a lame angel pasta all stick together. The dessert we had was the creamsicle orange cheesecake and it was, actually, really good. When we got home, my husband was still hungry. Overall, do not recommend this restaurant at all.

Fancy spaghetti at best. Atmosphere is cool and food was nothing special. My grandma loved it, but she also likes the old Olive Garden. Service was good.

We visited on 3/15/25 around 6pm and The food was okay, the homemade pasta noodles are really good however the sauces were meh, the Alfredo was way too cheesy and the meat sauce wasn’t anything special and the food came out luke warm but their primary clientele is elderly so makes sense it wouldn’t be hot hot. But I will say the homemade chicken noodle soup was really good! The food just wasn’t worth the prices. The service tho on the other hand was amazing!! We were celebrating a bachelorette party and the manager and server were AMAZING and treated us sooooo well. I would go back just for them! And the atmosphere was so elegant I loved it!!

Food was much much better and "fresher" than any Italian restaurant I had for the past 27 years in the DTW area. The bread was to die for, the salad was light and refreshing. I ordered the Polo Picante and the Mrs ordered the Chicken Marsala. Mine was a tad salty (mainly because I was doing a low sodium diet and forgot to mention to go easy on the salt). Other than that, chicken was not just a slab of meat; actually has a taste and flavor to it. The accompanying Alfredo (up charge) was light and awesome. My wife's Chicken Marsala was equally good and looked very appealing. We tipped it off with a slice or their Tiramisu- so light and flavorful; was not loaded with sugar. All in all, a great expand would certainly come back. Not the best place for large gatherings- best for 2-6 people. Overall, BRAVO!!

Best authentic Italian restaurant in Wayne County. The food was excellent! The service was excellent! And the ambiance was very nice. Special occasion, date night or just because you want great Italian food.

Best Italian food I’ve had in a while! Serving is great and super friendly. Food kept topping one over the other. Make sure to have space for their delicious dessert. Food is Cooked to perfection , 100% recommend to make a reservation as they are super packed.

The place is gorgeous! ? the service is amazing and extremely attentive. The calamari is very meaty and tasty, the honey balsamic vinaigrette for the salad was delicious. The main course was a little bland. I had the chicken piccatta. But the veal was very tender, and the alfredo sauce was delicious.

The service was great and the food for the most part was good. Unfortunately, the smell from the industrial area permeated the restaurant and was noticeable every time the door opened. It's not something easy to get past when you're trying to taste and smell your food. The pasta dishes were mostly lukewarm, which was also disappointing.

Excellent food service and Ambience Went for our Anniversary and order something and the waitress recommended a little something different and I was in love with the place then and there will go again and again. Finish every bite and I don't usually do that.

My absolute favorite Italian restaurant! Love table #2 in the wine room by the fireplace. Unbelievable service and lick your plate entrees. Never ever disappointed in what I order.

I cannot say enough good things about about Giovanni's! This is a true Detroit gem. We invited our friends (who were first timers here) and they absolutely loved it - I mean what's not to love? The food, the service, everything was amazing. To our waitress Tiffany - thank you for the incredible service, we will be back very soon!
